The march to full legalization for marijuana in California took another giant step for man kine this week as organizers turned in what they said were more than enough signatures to qualify their pro-pot measure for the November ballot.

After whipping crowds into frenzies at everything from high school games to Los Angeles Lakers games, Hughes has landed at the biggest show of them all, the Vancouver Winter Games. Hired by the Games’ organizers, the tall Canadian is being paid to lead the cheers at Olympic hockey games.

About 90 scientists from 26 organizations will be involved in the Indian Neutrino Observatory (INO), organizers say. Neutrinos are elusive, nearly mass-less elementary particles, sometimes called 'ghost particles.'"
